FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
AILALink Judged One of “ACLEA’s Best” for 2004
The international Association for Continuing Legal Education (ACLEA) announced today that the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) received one of only 16 annual awards granted to competitors representing more than 300 organizations.
An Award for Outstanding Achievement was given to AILA for AILALink, in the Best Use of Technology category. In evaluating the product, the judges stated:
“This highly useful, highly proficient product was built around an existing CD-ROM of statutory and regulatory material, which allowed the integration of the organization’s existing secondary materials into the final product at costs significantly lower than competitive products. An excellent user’s guide helps the attorney take full advantage of the search engine and the many useful menus and hyperlinks.”
Randy P. Auerbach, Director of Publications for AILA stated, “This is a terrific honor. I am pleased to share the award with my colleagues who help create and maintain this superb electronic research library and equally pleased that we are able to provide such a valuable service to our members.”
AILALink is the leading immigration law library on CD-ROM, including the most referenced and sought-after information and publications. AILALink gives practitioners the resources needed on a daily basis, and helps them manage immigration information—at an affordable price. Information about AILALink can be found online here.
